This Q audio low impedance installation amplifier offers powerful stereo output with 2 x100W at 8 Ohms, 2x 160W at 4 Ohms RMS. The QAMP3204 is ideal for various audio applications including bar, restaurant, gymnasium, and school installations. It includes a versatile mixer section accommodating 1 music and 3 microphone inputs. The music source is switchable between a media player and 3 external line inputs with gain control, and a front side 3.5mm jack line input.
The internal media player supports a FM tuner, Bluetooth receiver, USB thumb drives and SD cards up to 16GB/2000 songs, with MP3 file name display on a large LCD screen. It offers regular and random play modes, elapsed/remaining time display, and an FM tuner with RDS station information. The jingle player is an additional bonus feature for playing announcements and advertising, up to 3 jingles can be played. The jingles can be scheduled or played back via the pressing 1 of 3 switches on the front panel.
Microphone inputs are equipped with phantom power, isolation transformer (Mic 1 only), LPF & Gain controls at the rear, and volume and EQ controls at the front, along with an on/off switch. An adjustable auto talk-over function ensures automatic reduction of music levels during announcements.
The master section includes a 2-Band EQ, a 5-LED output level meter, and a rear-side maximum level control. It supports remote volume control via an external potentiometer QWALL (sold separately) and includes a chime sound generator with adjustable volume, external trigger, and user-loadable sound on a memory card.
For zoning purposes, the QAMP3204 features a dedicated zone section with separate volume control assignable to either the master signal or one of the rear-side line inputs.
The two internal amplifiers can be configured to carry the master left/right signal or mono master and mono zone signal. Each amplifier block includes an internally selectable 80Hz HPF (high-pass filter) to reduce the base frequencies being sent to small background speakers. The speaker outputs are on binding posts.
Emergency priority input and output mute contact facilitate external output muting and emergency message priority.
The QAMP3204 is housed in a sturdy 19 2U metal case with detachable rack ears, ensuring durability and ease of installation.
